Privacy Policy.

Last updated: April 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Cardinal & Oak collects when you contact us about your property, how we use that information, and how we protect it. We operate as a transparent Connecticut real-estate wholesaler. The principles below are consistent with that positioning: we collect the minimum we need to do our work, we tell you why, and we don't sell your information to anyone.

Information we collect

When you submit our intake form or call us, we may collect:

We do not collect Social Security numbers, bank account details, credit card information, or similar sensitive financial data during intake. If any party claiming to represent Cardinal & Oak asks you for those, they do not represent us.

How we use your information

We do not sell your information. We never sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties. The only parties who receive your information are: you, an end buyer you've been informed of in writing, the closing attorney, and any service providers (email, form hosting) who handle it under confidentiality.

How we store and protect it

Intake submissions are received through Formspree, a reputable third-party form service. Emails and communications are stored in our Google Workspace account. Both providers use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We retain your information for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, complete a transaction if one occurs, and comply with legal retention obligations — typically no more than seven years after our last contact with you.

Your rights

Third-party services

Our website uses Formspree for form submissions and Google Fonts for typography. These services have their own privacy policies governing the information they may collect. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies on our site.

Connecticut-specific rights

Under Connecticut law, including the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, Connecticut residents have the right to know what personal information a business holds about them, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of their personal information. Cardinal & Oak does not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email us at office@cardinalandoak.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on our homepage for at least thirty days.
